We are Orange Door Recovery.
We run licensed men's sober living homes in the Phoenix metro area. Sober living homes are not treatment centers or rehab facilities. Our residents are not our patients.
They are men taking accountability for their own recovery, responsible for their own choices, and living together in a real home. Our job is to keep that home safe and comfortable, and handle the details down to the salt and pepper on the table, so they can put their energy into their recovery.
A safe place to rebuild
Give men in recovery a comfortable, dignified home to live in while they do the work of staying sober.
Somewhere to land
A Phoenix where every man leaving treatment has a stable home to step into, not a shelter bed or a couch.
How we run
Dignity first, real hospitality, honest accountability, and respect for every path to recovery.
The need in Phoenix is bigger than the supply.
Every bed we open is one more man with a safe place to land and rebuild. That is why we started this, and why we are not stopping at one house.
Comfort, hospitality, community, structure.
We take care of the day to day so residents can put their focus on recovery.
Space to settle in
Thoughtfully designed rooms and comfortable shared spaces, with both private and shared rooms available.
We’ve truly tried to think of everything
A well stocked kitchen, all the supplies to keep the home clean and organized, and entertainment at home with a swimming pool, yard games, and TVs in every room with premium streaming.
Housemates who understand
Everyone here is working their own recovery, so the work feels normal, not isolating. We organize activities for residents to take part in, and housemates look out for one another.

Recovery isn't one size fits all.
There is no one right way to get sober. For some it is 12-step meetings and a sponsor. For others it is an intensive outpatient program, counseling, a faith-based program, work, or school. We do not require one path. We just ask that you stay active in the one you choose.
The one expectation
Every resident stays active in recovery and shows it, with a mandatory weekly house meeting and a weekly recovery activity report. We provide the structure and community. You choose the path.
Community, built in.
The men here are all working toward the same goal. We organize regular activities so the house stays connected and no one goes through recovery alone.
Community involvement
We also get residents involved in the community, through volunteer days and local events. Purpose and connection beyond the house are part of staying well.
Licensed and certified
Orange Door Recovery is a nonprofit, non-clinical sober living home. We operate under Arizona Administrative Code Title 9, Chapter 12, we are licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services, and we are AzRHA certified through the National Alliance for Recovery Residences. We run our homes by the book so residents and families can trust the roof over their heads.
